Usually when a tea is decaffeinated it loses some of its flavor. However that is not the case with our decaf oolong tea. A time tested method is used when decaffeinating our oolong teas so that all the aromatic flavor profiles stay within the tea. Decaf oolong tea is one of the best teas for those wishing to immerse themselves in tea culture and great taste without the caffeine.
How to Brew
Boil fresh spring water in a clean kettle. Preheat your mug or a teapot by pouring hot water in and out. This tea can be brewed 2-3 times, increasing the brew time for each additional brew.

I adore oolong tea and associate it with Chinese restaurants and time spent with friends. A decaffeinated version sounded heavenly for evening sipping that doesn’t cut into evening snoozing.
I brewed in the official Amazon sample mug with 16 ounces of boiling water. The scent was already very promising, and the flavor an absolute perfect, rich, flavorful oolong. No bitterness, no need to add sugar to tame it. I didn’t brew a second cup because bedtime, but it seems like it would be strong enough to allow it.
This is a wonderful tea. I will enjoy every drop and look for other offerings from the same company.

In the past, I try not to drink too much oolong tea because of the caffeine. This decaffeinated tea is what I have been waiting for. I can attest that it has very little caffeine and is very pleasant to drink. The flavor of the tea is less intense then the regular oolong tea, but I don’t mind because I like light teas better. I have never seen any decaf Chinese tea in grocery store. I am so glad I stumbled into this decaf oolong tea. Now I can drink oolong at night without having to worry about not being able to sleep later.
These are higher quality tea among tea bags. The bags are made of stronger material so they don’t leak easily. The leaves are not the finely cut ones you find in cheap teabags. These look like whole leaves. It has the distinctive oolong flavor and very enjoyable.

I enjoy oolong tea a lot. This decaffeinated version is perfect for drinking in the evening and late at night without the worry about having a hard time falling asleep. I like drinking it with my dinner and eat later in the evening and have had to give up my evening meal oolong tea because of the caffeine. Now I can go back to having oolong tea anytime of the day or night without it interfering with my sleep. Great taste without the caffeine.

I’m so excited to see this decaf version. It comes as separate tea bags, more convenient to consume. It is decaf tea, but that doesn’t compromise its flavor. It is very tasty, and at the same time, I don’t have to worry about caffeine when drinking it.

Tea bag is quite full and best placed in a nice tea pot to brew. Even with a huge mug, this tea bag could accommodate a huge pot. The flavor of the Oolong can’t be beat. It’s even better than those I buy loose at the Asian market. All this loveliness held in the tea bag where I don’t need to strain the tea before drinking. This oolong tea is pretty decent. It tastes fine and smell fragrant. It has a strong taste but the flavor is pretty one noted. It lacks the subtlety of the complex notes of the Oolong tea that I have grown to love. Having said that, I still enjoy it, considering it is decaffeinated and suitable for late night enjoyment.
This comes in 20 triangular mesh bags packed into a resealable plastic Kraft bag. The tea bags are not individually wrapped but you can use the resealable packaging to keep them fresh. Each tea bag can be re-steeped again without losing much flavor, so this whole pack can make up to 40 cups of tea. The loose tea leaves are sourced from Taiwan and/or Asia. Mine has an expiration date of over 3 years from now. Overall, this is a decent, decaf Oolong tea. Not the best Oolong tea by any means but I still enjoy it.
