Delicious Oolong. Without The Buzz.
Organic Ingredients. Delicious Flavor.
Caffeine free Oolong Tea is semi-fermented and contains all the benefits of green tea, but does not have its grassy taste or the tannins present in black tea. The very brief fermentation process also creates the subtle fragrances and flavors that distinguish this tea from all other varieties.
Caffeine free Oolong tea is a semi-oxidized tea that is commonly brewed either light or strong. Traditionally enjoyed after meals to aid in digestion, this tea brews a hint of bitterness that imparts a sweet and pleasant aftertaste. This oolong tea is decaffeinated by exposing moistened tea leaves to pressurized carbon dioxide which acts as a solvent to remove the caffeine. Because nothing else is affected during the process, the tea retains its flavor and beneficial antioxidants.
Our innovative supply chain model ensures you get the freshest cup of tea and our farmers get a better price for their produce.
Brew Color: Amber orange – Flavor Profile: Smoky, woodsy, and nutty notes and flavors with a delicate toasty finish.
Usually when a tea is decaffeinated it loses some of its flavor. However that is not the case with our decaf oolong tea. A time tested method is used when decaffeinating our oolong teas so that all the aromatic flavor profiles stay within the tea. Caffeine free oolong tea is one of the best teas for those wishing to immerse themselves in tea culture and great taste without the caffeine.

My wife and I are life-long tea lovers, so when we saw this product available from VINE for review, we were happy to do so. Oolong has been a favorite option in our tea cabinet all our lives.
First, any review of food products and especially teas is a subjective process. That’s compounded because “oolong” is a label that can describe a remarkably wide range of teas. I won’t go into the long version of these varieties, but I will suggest: If you love tea, search Amazon for good books on tea and you can read more about the history and varieties of oolong. If you’re curious about this, I can tell you that the 2 tea books we keep handy in our home are: Tea, by Gascoyne and Marchand; and The New Tea Companion by Pettigrew and Richardson. Both are usually discounted from the cover price on Amazon. Learning about the teas you’re trying can be a fun part of this culinary adventure.
Second, we simply had not been aware of a good brand of caffeine-free oolong before we spotted this product for review. And we can now confirm: There’s good, robust oolong flavor even after this caffeine-removal process. Makes it a fresh option for us in the evening, which is nice.

Love this tea. My best friend while growing up was from Taiwan. As a little girl I loved going to her house. It looked so different from my own. The smells and the food are engraved in my mind. Drinking this tea immediately brought me back in time. It was always an experience when we would have tea at my friend’s house.

Decaf Oolong tea is hard to get and I was happy to find this. Nice big leaves and full flavor–excellent!

This decaf oolong looses nothing in the decafination process. This is a fine tea. Recommended.

This is an all-around wonderful option for when you do not have an infuser or pot handy (especially at the office!).
The sachets are very well constructed with the leaves appearing as dark small coiled pieces. They are very fragrant with a nice sweet earthy scent. Once steeped, the leaves swell, lighten in color, and easily fill the sachet. While steeping, the fragrance is incredible… You have the earthiness (somewhat floral) aroma of the tea leaf with a nice fruit-like acidity coming through.
Once ready to enjoy, the tea has a nice dark honey color in appearance and maintains the sweet earthy floral scent, albeit a bit more subdued. The flavor is quite nice – not too bold, and quite smooth. I definitely taste quite a bit of floral undertones with just a hint of sweetness on the back end. I typically drink my teas black, but this one absolutely shined with a drop of clover honey.
This is a great midday tea when I need the pick-me-up at work… and it sits very well on the desk if I become distracted with emails and such. I did attempt to steep the tea back a second time, but found the flavor was a bit too washed out for my liking. Because of that, the pricing could be a bit steep for some.
All in all, this is a nice solid tea to add to one’s rotation!
